Our Team
Here at elements we have 5 estheticians and 2 receptionist/shop assistants.
Ammanda has over 7 years of experience in the esthetics industry. She is an Aveda Holistic Spa therapist as well as a certified podologist. Ammanda is the owner and operator of Elements and has many specialities including facials, pedicures and waxing.
Lisa has been at Elements now for over a year, and with over 20 years of experience in the industry and graduating with honors we are very glad to have her. Lisa also graduated from the Aveda Institute in Victoria in Cosmetology. Lisa first moved to Whitehorse in 1993 to join her family. She is known around Elements as the "brow queen" so its no surprise that she has a very strong talent for waxing.
Jennifer is our daytime receptionist/shop assistant extrodaniare and has been for almost a year. You will see her around assisting clients, keeping the spa tidy and of course booking appointments. Born and raised in Ontario Jennifer first moved to the Yukon 5 years ago and has been back and fourth ever since. Jennifer has completed the Aveda productivity course and is always here to help you find the perfect product for your needs.
Ritsuko first came to Elements 2 years ago speaking very little English, she is now by far the most talkative esthetician. She started learning esthetics over 20 years ago, and spent 7 years in Japan doing massage. Ritsuko's passion for esthetics and massage is very clear by her satisfied clientele who are always returning for more services
Bini is our newest addition to Elements and has traveled all the way from India to join us. Bini completed over 5 years of training in esthetics in India and even taught esthetics! She offers many unique services to our clients such as threading, mahendi henna tattoo and indian head massage.
Brenda has been here at Elements just over 6 months and has been a very busy girl since she arrived. Being our only massage therapist she is always booked quite far in advance. Brenda has been practising massage therapy for over 4 years. She recently moved here to the Yukon for bigger and better things and we are sure glad she did. Be sure to request Brenda if you would like therapeutic or prenatal massage as she is the only one here at Elements who offers them.
